No way is this complete. I know the FW stations all signed on before 8; In fact, Channel 55 had been on 24 hours for some years by that time.
 
I think The Blade only had listings from 8AM to around 2AM, with the poster giving complete listings for the Detroit networks from the Newfoundland Herald.
 
With the exception of the Toledo affiliate, I would think the ABC affiliates (certainly the one in Cleveland where the local newspaper owned the station) scheduled local news at 6:30 PM.

E.W. Scripps (still WEWS' parent) sold the Cleveland Press in 1980. Two years later, the paper was no more.
