I kinda forgot that Paramount created a daily edition of Solid Gold (as seen on WHIO, mostly due to its parent Cox owning a stake in Operation Prime Time, which also originally brought us Entertainment Tonight and Star Search) during this particular season. The weekly show was still running strong at this point, and would at least for another four-five years at this point. Grant Goodeve, best known as Dick Van Patten's eldest son on "Eight is Enough" was the host of this daily show (Rick Dees was the primary host of the weekly show at this point, before Dionne Warwick returned to the series to host season five ['84-85]).
