Ronnie Dee and the Satellites will be meeting with Bob Spicer from WLLI FM, New Bedford, Jack Rivers from WNRI AM, Woonsocket, and who knows who else will show up on Saturday, September 19, 11:00am at the Star Diner 140 Newport Ave, Rumford, RI.

“Papa Joe” says, “We’ve been trying to get together for months and now, finally, we nailed it down and “booked the date”. Got some other DJs and personalities on the list who haven’t made a commitment yet, but I’m hoping!

This is an open invitation for all radio DJ’s of the 50s and early 60s Doo Wop and Oldies to join us.

ALSO, we have put out an open invitation to friends and fans in the area to cruise on in and join us just like ‘back in the day’.

Can’t wait to see the faces of the ‘newbie’s’ to the Star when they walk in the door. It’s like stepping back in time! Genuine, authentic, 50s décor and just a overwhelming feeling of nostalgic bliss! … THE PERFECT place to reminisce … Especially when you hear the tunes from the ’50s and early ’60s playing on the jukebox! Ronnie and the Satellites tunes, TOO!

As for Don K Reed. CBS-FM apparantly discontinued the Radio Greats every Sunday night. But I'm sure he's still in th NY area.
