Any thoughts or feedback on how the station are doing with their news and weather timing during the breaks? Is it on time like Rocket was or often mistimed like Mixx 102.9 was back when they used to carry the show?

I don't really have to listen to this station since I can pick up 104.7 WZZK from where I'm at pretty good. However, I wonder when the R&B show move to their new studio is WZZK still going to be called as their flagship station?
 
Apparently people are still burnout on this subject or simply don't care.

Well, today I notice WZZK did screw up a couple of times on their ad break/segment timing. After the last break in the 8 o'clock hour, the station jump in on the next segment without the usual bumper music or "welcoming back to the show" deal. So I guess even the flagship station is subject to mistiming or something else must have screw up for that to occur.

I did hear some people calling in today (all of them listening to the River) and bashing the Rocket though for what had happen late last year. I suppose that will happen for the next couple of days, then cool down after that.
 
May not agree with some of the music they play but I like their presentation. These two men do know their stuff.

Rick & Bubba gives the state a black eye. Most people associate their redneck "presentation" and backwoods humor as a throwback to the Wallace era. Most of today's citizens hope most people forget that embarassing part of our history.

Please keep the R&B disease in the state.
 
Well Tenn Radio Boy, we are all entitled to our opinions. There are a lot more people who don't agree with you and have helped to make their program the #1 morning show in Birmingham for many years running. I would be interested to hear, but I believe they are #1 in Montgomery also. Would be also interesting to hear how they are ranked in the other 30 markets throughout the US that Program Directors, General Managers, and Owners have chosen the Rick and Bubba Show to be their morning show. They must be doing something right.
 
Rick & bubba Were On In Presque isle Maine On WEGP 1390 For Three Weeks, But They Took Them Off, Dont Know Why , Yet. I moved here from my home town birimgham Two Years Ago, I Worked With Them In Gadsden At WQEN Q104 And It Was Good To Hear Them Again , Hope They Will Be Back. Radio Sucks Bad Here, All On The Dam Dell And Sat Crap. The Only Good One Here Is My Buddy Al And His Shortwave Station WBCQ On The Web It Is wbcq.com Check It Out Lots Of Pic's And Info And A Oldies Station In ca. ckdo ckdo.com
 
Wow on in Maine. Thats a far cry from the south LOL. I know someone up in north New York state. They said the radio sucks up there too.
 
100.3 ran a traffic report for WERC this morning during Rick and Bubba... Birmingham traffic just didn't seem to help me much as I drove up the parkway!

How odd. Perhaps they went back to the feed too early and you caught some of B'ham's traffic report. Btw, I only started listening to WZZK last week and I didn't realize at the time that station tends to fade out after 9AM where I'm at.

I did hear a replay this weekend so that was nice. I believe it was a full replay, before with the Rocket it was only for two hours on a Saturday morning.
 
I thought it might be that at first, but then I realized they aren't on WERC in Bham... they are on WZZK... WERC is another CC station, though. Perhaps Prophet somehow magically moved a traffic report around to HSV?
