RIP: Mr. Bill Blake aka: "Jim Nasium" formerly of WXBQ

I received a phone call from a friend earlier informing me that Mr. Bill Blake has died. Bill Blake was co-host of the WXBQ Morning Air Show alongside Richard Quillen for years.

Bill Blake was a pleasure to be around. I miss him doing the hour opener with Richard Quillen on the WXBQ Morning Air Show as they simultaneously sang “Goooood Morninggggg”. For those who remember, the energy he brought to the airwaves was amazing.

I am glad his suffering is done. R.I.P.

I worked with Bill at WXBQ from 2000 to 2004. I always enjoyed talking and joking with him. He was a great guy: and not just a great guy but a great RADIO guy. There's not a lot of them around anymore.
