This is a General Radio Topic, since the two RnR Music & RnR radio were great pals at one time.
Here is Holly (played by Gary Busey, who did a great job!!!) and the band playing at a roller rink, the kids want'na hear " SOME BOP" (BE-BOP), but the concern is the sponsor of the radio show . . . RnR was considered BAD at time. When the person at the station gets a call from the sponsor, that person at the station decides to record what Holly & the guys are singing, sending it to a record company . . . the rest is history.
