Rob Johnson starts Monday November 15 on WGST; Rusty Humphries starts January 1

Any word on who Rob Johnson is, or why bringing someone in from a small market that's as far away from Atlanta as geographically possible makes sense given how many seasoned Atlanta pros are available?

Well, I'll just say that with Rusty Humphries on, I will be listening. So glad that even the A.M. / talk stations are switching things up in Atl. It's been 6 years since I've last heard him, but the memory tattooed in my brain from his last shows on KXXT are enough to get me desiring to listen to WGST and place a preset for it in the car. I wonder if Bill Handel's "Handel on the law" is on any Atlanta station?

As far as Handel on the Law -- it appears he is still on WSB on Saturday afternoons and early Sunday morning before the religious and community service shows kick in: http://www.handelonthelaw.com/home/TuneIn.aspx

Humphries has been on with his national show in the evenings on WGST -- while he's ok to listen to for a while, he's gone off the deep end with the Tea Party and his almost fanatic physical fitness kick.

Wow... talk about crossing the line into irrelevance -- the lack of response to anything GST with the new show(s) somewhat in place has certainly made it seem that way. I'm somewhat surprised at the lack of armchair reviewer posts on Rob Johnson's show -- but then again, with winter power-down hours, maybe none of you have been able to listen.

WGST should not have attempted to make any changes until they get on 105.3 (or wherever, but that's the only logical option)...no matter how good the programmnig could be, the signal is always going to be a massive limit.
