Roger Emrich, 1080 AM KRLD, Cowboys/AT&T Stadium & Texas A&M Commerce PA has died.

Roger Emrich, commonly known as the "Raj Mahal", a longtime announcer for 1080 AM KRLD & Texas State Network as well as the PA voice for the Dallas Cowboys & Texas A&M Commerce Lions football games and a Texas Radio Hall of Famer has died at the age of 62. He passed away last week from a heart attack.

His death was announced on Sunday by his son Ted, reactions of his death was felt all over North Texas including the Cowboys, Texas A&M Commerce Athletics department, and everyone in DFW Radio and TV and sports annoucing world including voice of the Cowboys Brad Sham, KTCK 1310 AM/96.7 AM The Ticket's Mike Rhyner, 96.3 KSCS morning show host Hawkeye, Cowboys' Radio/TV sideline reporter Kristi Scales, radio voice of the Texas Rangers Eric Nadel, voice of Dallas Mavericks Mark Fallowill, KZPS Lonestar 92.5 & Dallas Stars PA Jeff K, and NFL Network's Jen Slater (who once worked for KRLD's FM Sports talk station of the same call letters and Dallas Cowboys Radio home 105.3 The Fan) all commented on his passing.

Sorry to hear him pass away at 62. My thoughts, prayers and coldolences to everyone who knew him and to his family as well.
