"George Hamilton is a great pick for the 60+ crowd but nobody under that age knows or gives a damn about him."
I am 23......is this the same George Hamilton who sang that country song "Abilene" in the 1960s? Curious.......
"It Doesn't Matter Who Hosts The Price is Right. After Bob Retires it WILL be Cancelled within 1 year. NO MATTER WHO you put in there. Bob Barker IS TPIR. Without Bob there is No TPIR!"
Too early to tell really, I doubt it will be cancelled but viewership might likely dwindle rapidly until there isn't any more to justify keeping it on the air. And even THEN CBS will probably find some lame excuse to keep it on the air, the once great game show they all made a bloody mess out of.
But then again who knows? I mean look how many years Jeopardy has been going since Art Flemming left, and how successful it has been in this time! IF, and only IF CBS hires an actual GAME SHOW HOST who actually knows what s/he's doing (seemingly becoming a rarity these days in my opinion, and I don't mean some talk show host or "American Idle" throwaway) will TPIR remain viable after "The Bob" leaves. If they don't, well, looks like it will merely become filler for a vacant time slot, like Infomercials are. (Perhaps ION might end up being interested?? ;o)
