So looks like RTV's Retro Saturday Morning Cartoons block will be the start of a new Retro Kids network.Luken Communications, a Chattanooga, Tennessee based company that operates RTV (Retro Television Network), unveils plans to launch a new kid and baby boomer-targeted network (title TBA). So far Luken has acquired a mix of animated and live-action series from Classic Media and other libraries for the network, including Richie Rich, Casper, The Lone Ranger, Mr. Magoo, Secret of Isis, Zorro, Shazam and Lassie, as well as shorts such as Dick Tracy and Fraidy Cat. Luken reports that affiliate deals are in the works and plans to make further announcements later this year.

It was canceled after only a few episodes and hardly anyone remembers it. it was sort of like SNL for kids. Really off the wall. I've also heard that most of the tape for that show is also missing...

Dumb move, since making new HD copies will be impossible. the tapes halmark made were in standard definition in the PAL format for European tv.
