Rumors of 24/7 ESPN to 680 or 850 return?

While it may sound far fetched for RKO to go ESPN, I just talked with a friend of mine in the biz and he mentioned formats trending out of the 25-54 demo. What do advertisers want...50-60 yr olds who want
political talk, or 25-40 yr olds who want sports (even if it's the network not local)? Selling, selling.

who knows..meanwhile bostonradio reminded me espn still wants a deportes affilliate in Bos (1310? 143? 1510?) and Sox in Spanish deal in last yr of contract. Of course it was 2 yrs ago that they mentioned wanting ESPN in Sp. here, nada yet

Can WEEI-FM go it alone with the signal coverage loss?

There really isn't that much of a loss (if any) as the WVEI-FM signal covers points south and west that 93.7 doesn't reach.
