Rush now out of the hospital in Hawaii

Rush Limbaugh is said to be feeling "stronger and rested" upon his release today from Queens Hospital in Honolulu, sources state moments ago.

Through Premier Radio Networks, Rush looks forward to being back on the air "sometime next week" as he continues some rest. Fill-in hosts will take his place for a few days.

Rush thanks "tens of thousands" of people for their prayers, thoughts and concerns and also thanks the medical staff and administration for their assistance and care since his admission to the hospital for undislosed chest pains and extensive tests two days ago.

UPDATE: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,581732,00.html

Welcome back, Rush! And Happy New Year!

News reports add that he has no idea what caused the chest pains and that nobody else could figure it out. It sounds a lot to me like something that has been going around, that starts with some pretty grand chest pains then becomes a doozy of a cold. Either that, or those who listen to him might want to be prepared to hear one heck of a burp on the air one day.

Not being able to figure out the cause, I hope he doesn't rush to coming back on-air, and take it easy. Make up for those lost vacation days spent in the hospital, anyway.

I'm glad he's out and well!

Oh Yeah the latest updates on Rush here. Do you think life would go on without him? I think so. Hmm radio stations would actually have to be creative and fill a three hour void. Hmmmmmm

word has it that the entire thing was a stunt...

Yeah, but word had it he died, too...

Where would these "words" come from? Anonymous message board posters? Anonymous comments at the end of news stories? Three guesses on the kind of people who create these "words."

Sometimes it's hard for people to believe a man in his 50s would need to go to the hospital, I guess.

Yesterday Google returned a full page of results for "Rush Limbaugh dead at 58" But if it's on the internet, it must be true.

Hmmmmmm, I don't even listen to the guy; however, there are quite a few threads on the RI Boards about Mr. Limbaugh. What is your proposal for creativity?
