Rusty Black/New sportstalk show-Fort Smith Radio Group

Golden voiced radio veteran Rusty Black is back on the air in Fort Smith, pulling a 4P-6P shift M-F on KOOL 104.7 (KQBK). Yet another coup for the Fort Smith Radio Group.

In addition, we will have a BIG announcement July 1 regarding the 4-7 p.m. time slot on The Sports Hog 103.1. This one will set the market on it's ear.

Been doiing this for thirteen years. This is the most fun I have ever had.
 
What is/was the big announcement? Maybe giving Jimmy the freak and Marty Houston a bigger show? joking.
 
New 4-7 p.m. local/Razorback sports talk show starts July 28 on KTTG-FM (The Sports Hog).....

Hosted by former Morning Rush (ESPN 96.3) host Josh Bertacinni.
 
Really? Wow! that really is a big announcement.

Who will be part of this show? I rather listen to Josh than those old Drive Time guys.
 
Josh B. on his own sounds like a great show idea to me.

I'm sure he'll be surrounded by Razorback insiders and guests too right?

RESS RELEASE-The Sports Hog 103.1 (50,000 watts) of the Fort Smith Radio Group will be airing a new weekday drive sports talk show beginning July 28.

The show will be hosted by Josh Bertacinni in the 4-7 p.m. time slot, replacing the departed Drivetime Sports.

The show will be caller and guest driven, with inside information from the Razorback camp, exciting news on the world of college and professional athletics and dedication to local and prep sports unlike anything ever heard in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

The show is being developed with an eye towards state wide syndication in the near future.

I think I will most definately listen. JB does talk more national and NFL than those other shows do. I would say JB's show will be better than listening to Randy and slick Rick and Shawn Arnell laugh.

Josh is a huge talent, but this is almost unfair. We almost win the time slot by default.
