S Fla Radio History File Updates: WVCG/WTPS and WJNO/WJNA/WBZT

Radio History Updates:


(1) Legacy WVCG, the Voice of Coral Gables, (1080) became Radio One's
WTPS talk station (with Al Sharpton and other syndicated talk) almost
5 months ago.

I have updated and renamed my WVCG page to reflect this.

It includes mention of WVCG as a classical station, an oldies station,
and most recently, as a brokered station.

(2) About four years ago, I asked Alan Diskin "Why do these stations
keep switching frequencies?" regarding WJNO, WJNA, and WBZT.

So he wrote an article explaining it for South Florida Radio History.

Well, I just updated the file last weekend.

Just in case anyone was following this and wondering... I responded to Wolf that same day.

Nine days later, he hasn't produced ANY info, not even what station he was on or when.

Nor could I find anything about his radio career on the web.

So don't get your hopes up that you'll be reading about Wolf anytime soon.
At least not on my site. (I don't have ESP.)
