sad news out of the world of wrestling as a hardcore wrestling legend who was dubbed the "Human Highlight Reel" & "Genocidal, Homicidal, Suicidal" for his hardcore wrestling style, Sabu has died at the age of 60, the hardcore legend real name Terry Brunk wrestled from 1990 to his retirement over 3 weeks ago at Game Changer Wrestling's The Collective (a series of wrestling events from GCW and other indy wrestling promotions as well as recently included promotions from Mexico and Japan that is a event that takes place in the WrestleMania host city during WWE WrestleMania week as part of the bigger celebration of pro wrestling during WrestleMania which is consider the wrestling version of The Super Bowl) where he wrestled Joey Janella in a no rope barbed wire match at a event at the Collective called "Joey Janella's Spring Break" which was the main event of that show.
Sabu's wrestling career lasted about 35 years and he was well known for working in ECW, but he also worked in WCW, WWE, TNA, NJPW, AJPW, FMW and recently in the past few years was a guest referee in a match in AEW in 2023.
Sabu was also the nephew of Eddie Farhat, better known as "The Shiek" in the world of wrestling, Sabu's gimmick was portrayed as a middle eastern/Indian character and was often billed from India at one point in his career, never mind the fact he was not Indian, but actually of Irish, German and Lebanese descent instead. he was in a relationship with Melissia Coates (a indy women's wrestler who previously worked in WWE's developmental territories Deep South Wrestling & Ohio Valley Wrestling) from 2014 until her death in 2021 due to Covid19 complications that resulted in blood clots in her left leg that resulted in amputation after contracting the virus in 2020.
