Sacramento Bee: "Obituary: Sacramento Veteran Rock Deejay Gordon Styler Dies"

Re: Sacramento Bee: "Obituary: Sacramento Veteran Rock Deejay Gordon Styler Dies"

I am saddened by Gordo's passing. I only worked with him a short time and actually ended up replacing him as Production Director at KZAP. He was a kind man who was generous with his words and actions and he will be missed greatly by all he touched...

I too found "Gordo" to be a very kind soul. I liked the Sports Card Shop he operated on Fulton for a few years. I understand that he left this area shortly after the passing of his wife.

This is sad. I remember listening to him on KZAP back in the day.

I'm racking my brain. I cannot remember hearing him. Did he go by any other names? What other stations did he work in the Sacramento area?
