Saints win the chance to go to the superbowl , Local Media in meltdown

With the Saints now on the way to Miami, I figure everyone will Monday Morning QB the local media coverage so please discuss
 
As far as radio, it seemed that everyone defers to WWL. WRNO didn't even have anyone updating their web site during the game. WRNO still has a link on their Home Page to an interview John Osterlind did with Robert Meachem 6 weeks ago.

"The New Home Of Fox Sports" and our only alleged Sports Station, WIST, had only the 2 hour Eric and Kaare dance fest on Saturday. No web updates. No Tweets.

WGSO - nothing - no radio, no web updates.

I would think that, by now, people would realize that listeners are looking for an alternative voice and, sorry, that alternative voice is not Kenny Wilkerson, Eric Asher or Kaare Johnson.

The biggest sports story of the year, in a market with 3 talk stations and 1 sports station, and there was only coverage on 1 station. Pretty sad.
 
1350 is sports radio..but its just ESPN :) WWL is gonna have a 21 ranking for the next 2 weeks. They were insane last night !!!! :)
 
Insane is having their two football (sports) experts on, Lil Timmy Tuber & Spob Michell. I can recall lil Timmy spouting off to let the Saints move before the state build them a new stadium & how the dome should be imploded like the Seattle Kingdome. Both are like the Vikings, LOSERS! Thanks pal, see at the Hustler Club.
 
1350 is all syndicated so I didn't include them in "Local Media". The closest thing 1350 will have regarding "Local" Saints commentary is if Tom Fitzmorris talks to a baker selling Saints King Cakes since I know he won't stoop low enough to talk about tailgaiting.

Shame for WWL there's no PPM now in NO.

My point was, why give this huge story away?
 
One cheap media... You know it costs more than the $7.25 board op to run live....

Two , people just assume that since WWL has been covering the Saints, everyone would go there.

Three, everyone it seems was watching TV... I know between 4 and 6, you'd think Mardi Gras Day was here
