Sale of the Century is returning to US Television!

Wonder if the Freemantle deal includes the rights to the 80s version of SOTC for possible re-airing on GSN. Perhaps in conjunction with Grundy's "Scrabble" gameshow.

There are several clips and almost full-length episodes of Australian "Temptation" on YouTube. I think it will translate well to the US as long as Freemantle does a good job of maintaining the integrity of the show.

Hi everyone:

Yeah and it's probably gonna be yet another cheaply produced version of the original show which will undoubtedly make it's way onto GSN too. Nothin' special. 'Tis just the way game shows are being produced these days.

Producing a REALLY good game show EXCEPT for Wheel Of Fortune & Jeopardy! (Which isn't saying very much I might add considering who owns them) has become a lost art.

In short, I hate to burst your bubble and be a party-pooper, but I hope you'll pardon me if I seem cynical here. :D

Cheers :D
