Salem News: Phone in gal Generosa saddened by Leveille cancellation

I wouldn't be shocked if she didn't make it to 2010 if you know what I mean. It really seemed as though she lived for that show. I am sure she has friends and family but that show was so special to her. I always looked forward to hearing her close out the week on Friday mornings.

I tuned in at her time slot just out of morbid curosity...she has moved on and has replaced Friday, Friday with Good morning, good morning or something like that. She has a ton of family and friends, so no fear. She like th rest of us who have lived a while know the scoop. Steve knew the climate of the business and will land on his feet because he is good at what he does. I am sure he has enjoyed reading th blogs and all this hoopala will help his marketability. BZ was dragging him down. Generosa has moved on to Jon Boy, while other listerners like myself have moved way from WBZ because they don't offer anthing that interests me pure and simple. Would you buy something advertised as clam chowar if it didn't have any clams in it?

I haven't turned on WBZ after midnight since the second night of Grayson. And I lasted about ten minutes with that... thank goodness for the podcasts I download and the small speaker in the bedroom...

I --used to-- listen to the other end of the show,so I've only heard her a few times. But did Gen' actually call Grayson? I imagine Glen from Brighton has found his way on. And the newspaper guy from Maryland who calls every overnight show from Boston to Chicago.

I wasn't home but supposedly Beat the Press had their middle segment on the BZ situation and I'll try and catch the replay. Interesting that Steve had his problems with Emily and was punked-by someone writing as Emily- causing further problems.

Yup. :)

Yeah, Glenn called middle of the week, I think. He's cool, I enjoy his calls. Newspaper guy from Maryland (Dave) ::) snuck 2 calls throughout the week, & also 2 to WGN. Can we find a more self-serving guy? I am glad he doesn't have his own radio show.

If I hear one more call of him praising himself about that stupid book & newspaper article he was in, I'm gonna plug my radio w/ the 12 gauge.
