Saltville Owner Charged in Child Sex-Related Case

It's sad that Jeff would ruin his career like this.

Sources close to the situation say as soon as the wife gets the Automation PC's back from the police, she'll be putting the station back on the air.

Continental Media Group, LLC licensee of WXMY is owned by jeff and his wife, each holding 50 percent stake in Continental Media Groupo, LLC.

WXMY has a pending application to go to 23KW Day, 23KW Critical and 11 Watts night, all non direcitonal up from it's 5000 Watts Day and 500 Watts PSRA it has now.

Has WXMY returned to the air? It's been a little over a week since this happened...it's all sad, shocking, and dissappointing.

You know, the PC and the internet have been great innovations in my lifetime (I'm 39 years old), but the technology certainly nurtures--or has even created--this and many other similar crimes and ills of our society. It's sad that great inventions evolve into purposes for which their use was not intended.

Don't know if it's back yet, but the latest I hear has WXMy coming back on eventually and simulcasting 1330 WHGB.

1330...that's the station that used to be WOLD in Marion, right?

I'm noticing that voiceofjeff.com and 1600wxmy.com both come up with nothing for webpages.
Anybody heard anything about what's happening at WXMY?

I was traveling Hwy 19 between Lebanon and Bluefield almost 3 weeks ago and dialed up WXMY and they were on the air. It was a Sunday and they were playing Southern Gospel, but I heard very little in the way of liners, spots, etc. I probably listened for 30 minutes total -- not continuous but in the midst of surfing. I didn't hear Jeff's voice on anything and his was pretty much the only voice heard previously.
