To see if there is interest in old San Francisco video airchecks bundled together, California Aircheck has put out a 1981-1986 San Francisco radio DVD. Available through the California Aircheck website and I'll also put a limited number of them for sale on Ebay. If you search on something like KFRC DVD, it'll come up on Ebay. It includes much KFRC including the Mobile Sturgeon, the KFRC 20th Anniversary Reunion, and both Brian Rhea in the mobile studio and Dave Sholin later in the day back at the station for the last day of KFRC as Top 40 in 1986.

I was once a DJ and a talkshow host. I know there are a few airchecks of me out there, but frankly, I'm embarrassed about some of the stuff I did and would never want anybody to distribute this content anywhere.
I'm not saying that DJs and copy writers and the people who sang the jingles, etc., are embarrassed at what they did, but many of these folks want to leave that past BEHIND them. They should have the right to do that and not have someone come out with CDs of their work without their knowledge or permission.
