Saturday Night Live (May 8th) with guest host Betty White

Maybe we are seeing the start of a new trend on SNL. Now that Facebook managed to get Betty White perhaps the same people can try to get Abe Vigoda to host the show close to Father's Day.

It would be cool if Abe Vigoda was to host.
But then, the writers would have him in a homosexual-is-funny situation every other skit, which I'm not sure he'd go with.
So we'd just see the current guys a lot more than Vigoda that night.

+1 :D

The SNL writers do seem to be stuck in the "gay-is-funny" mode sometimes.

Last Saturday, the writers should have pulled from Betty White's past, but I'm not sure that many of the writers are old enough to remember the 60's, 70's and 80's.

It would be cool to be a fly on the wall at the staff meeting where Will Forte and Seth Meyers try to strongarm Vigoda into a man-kissing-man bit, or six.

How would they cover up their injuries for that Saturday night, or the next, if it's live? ;)
