Lou Rawls was schedueled to appear. I wonder if the tribute will change focus in light of today's passing of Lou Rawls?

WNBC, which seems to be airing it Sunday afternoon, mentioned on their 11PM newscast tonight that it will be Lou Rawls final appearance, as it seems to be pre-taped.<P ID="signature">______________

I imagine that they'll be a brief tribute during ththis year's special, with Rawls being the spotlight next year (since he was involved with the "Parade of Stars" since it started in the mid-1980s).

Yes,it was and it was shown on ABC on its nightly news in their tribute to Lou Rawls saying that it was his last appearance and they showed a clip of Lou singing Stevie's 1973 hit "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life". I am also wondering since the passing of Lou Rawls who will take over in his place. I am thinking Stevie Wonder and also Nancy Wilson who has been on every UNCF Parade Of Stars broadcast since its start.

BTW: It airs tonight on WGN at 10:30 Central Time.

The National UNCF show was recorded in early September.
