Saul Levine and his 1510 AM San Francisco Station

Hi Folks:

Mike Croaro from the San Francisco market. Seems Saul is very "popular" on the LA topic threads.

I miss his 1510 AM San Francisco station a lot. For us up here it filled the void of Golden Oldies and the Nostalgia format. He ended up selling it to the owners of KPIG ("K-Pig") in Santa cruz, CA. Like the LA stations it changed formats a lot. During the last seven years the formats went something like this:

classical (K-Mozart)
Nostaglia (K-Joy) (also played on his 100.7 FM station)
classical (K-Mozart)
New Country
classical (K-Mozart)
Golden Oldies

I think it may have also carried "christian rock" at some point. At least he try's to play underserved formats.
