SAVAGE offers $1 million for Gingrich to drop out of RACE

CNN picked up the story, but I think other media, including FOX are looking at it as a Publicity Stunt.

Too bad we as a nation cannot pony up $10mil each to make every one-sided, partisan hack, lying sac-o-crap talk show host go away.

You know the ones: They make NO effort to be honest or fair.

It's a dandy stunt, I'll give him that.

$1 million is not near enough to draw anyone away from the money-sucking power that
is Washington, DC though.

As Peter Lawford's character put it in the original Ocean's Eleven...."I think I'll try and become
head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Do you have any idea how much money a fella could steal
in a job like that?"

MSNBC Madow also mentioned that "extreme right wing shock jock....Savage...etc. So he got mention on CNN and MSNBC, good gimmick

The persons referenced in the title of this topic are Michael Wiener, a national radio host who goes by the pseudonym Michael Savage, and Newt Gingrich, a former member of the House of Representatives of the United States and a current candidate for the presidency of the United States. The MSNBC host referenced in the post above mine was Rachel Madow.

No need to be unpleasant. Life is too short to be so negative. Just ignore the host if you don't like him.

Sorry, hard to be positive about a gang of misfits who have monopolized talkradio using lies and distortions, and only serve to further divide this country by demonizing anyone who dares take another position. Many of them know they're misleading their audience for the sake of defeding their ideology, and they just don't care.

This is well beyond "well go listen to another show". This is seriously doing damage to our country and I find that to be repugnant at best.

Again, sorry. I guess I just give a crap.

Interesting because Savage at one time worked for MSNBC then was fired over the comments in 2003 then signed a new contract for KNEW 910-AM.

That anyone would even consider this is just more proof that our government is controlled by big money. As much as I dislike Gingrich, I find this whole proposition repugnant!

Is this situation any different from, for example, Gingrich getting 1.8 million for 'consulting' Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?
I mean, besides the fact that one goes on behind closed doors and actually gets consummated, and one's done as a publicity stunt that will never happen [probably because we don't know about the other things going on in secret in the government realm]?
