I caught the last fifteen minutes of Morgan on what he said was the final Steve Leveille Broadcast. Fittingly, Generosa was the last caller, and was understandably saddened. She's been a mainstay on that overnight shift for years and somehow I don't think she'll be a regular caller on whatever syndicated fare CBS has in store for us. Morgan did a fine job of closing it out with a very classy tribute to Steve Leveille.
The whole tone was fairly ominous though (I thought the same thing listening to Dan Rea during my drive home earlier in the evening, particularly when he was encouraging callers to keep calling and listening with more fervor than usual). I think its entirely possible that the remaining talk programs (incl. Rea and Jordan Rich) may be in jeopardy as well.
Its a sad day for WBZ.
