Well, it's been over a year since I last did one of these. I now have a new box to work this with, so let's have some fun.

N.B.-- this bandscan is dedicated in memory to my Marantz Superscope QR-450, 1975-2010 October 25. O great quad receiver, we hardly knew thee. R I P

.3 282 KMNT-FM (Chehalis, WA) Country station. *BARELY AUDIBLE*
 .5 283
.7 284 KDUK-FM "K-Duck" (Florence, OR) Florence is at the central OR coast,
perhaps most famous for the "Exploding Whale" news broadcast of KATU
back in 1970. (Nice place, but personally, I like Manzanita better.
;o) This is also my first hit from the OR coast since hearing KAST-FM
(R.I.P.) in the late 1990s, at my Folks' previous house about a mile
away from here. Scratchy but tolerable, with stereo signal.

.3 292 KLOO-FM (Corvallis, OR) Somewhat more audible than before but very
     scratchy.
 .5 293
 .7 294 KLTH-FM (DA 2s) (Portland) Weak revival of the early-1990s "Oldies

 .3 297
 .5 298 KXJM-FM (DA 2s) "Wild 107.5" (Portland) Outgrowth of the previous

     still just as irritating.

 .9 300 KHPE-FM "Hope FM" (Corvallis, OR)

Near future: I pack the F1HD wih me to Pendleton and scan OR and WA east of the Cascades! That'll truly be fun. (That area's mainly flat terrain and rolling hills, so the VHF propagation is tremendous over there.)
Release date: T.B.A.

That's a great report on the bandscan. I like what I see here. I'm kind of surprised that you're not hearing the 99.1 in Eugene since it's supposed to have really big signal. Perhaps a mountain is in the way of the transmitter.

I spent some time in Sutherlin, OR several years ago, before Sony introduced the HD tuner, and I could barely hear some of the Portland stations with my CCRadioSW. The terrain in Douglas Co., OR kept FM reception poor in many places.

The terrain between here and Eugene is quite mountainous, yes. I did hear an extremely faint modulation on 99.1, but not enough to make out what it was.

Good bandscan!

You should try some of these frequencies during tropo. You might get some Seattle stations, like KKWF 100.7 for example.
