Well, it's been over a year since I last did one of these. I now have a new box to work this with, so let's have some fun.
N.B.-- this bandscan is dedicated in memory to my Marantz Superscope QR-450, 1975-2010 October 25. O great quad receiver, we hardly knew thee. R I P

Near future: I pack the F1HD wih me to Pendleton and scan OR and WA east of the Cascades! That'll truly be fun. (That area's mainly flat terrain and rolling hills, so the VHF propagation is tremendous over there.)

.5 283
.7 284 KDUK-FM "K-Duck" (Florence, OR) Florence is at the central OR coast,
perhaps most famous for the "Exploding Whale" news broadcast of KATU

;o) This is also my first hit from the OR coast since hearing KAST-FM
(R.I.P.) in the late 1990s, at my Folks' previous house about a mile
away from here. Scratchy but tolerable, with stereo signal.
