Shepard Smith, the Fox News host who drives the faithful crazy

Wow but not shocking. It's amazing to think that Fox News is now being viewed as the sane person in the room in an era when Fox News itself has to deal with the "Rumored competition" like Sinclair, and NewsmaxTV all fighting for audiences that Fox News was good at holding on to in the past.

Also this is one of a few segments where Fox News has called out Trump and that's Fox News Channels target audience.

The news side of Fox routinely airs reports critical of the current president so this really shouldn't come to a surprise. The thing is that all 3 cable "news" networks report very little news. It's very hard to find news reports, they would rather have a bunch of people on air bickering.

A good example could be found in a scan of the cable "news" nets this afternoon. If there was any report on the significant eruption and ensuing deaths at a volcano in Guatemala (where?) it was a crawl on the bottom of the screen. Of course, no mention of how volcanoes affect global warming.

At least the "Big 3" networks covered it, but very, very briefly. There was too much breaking news about Stormy and The Russians (the new grunge band, i believe).

The bickering is what attracts the audience.
