Shocker: Nashville ABC Affiliate News Anchors Get Cameo On ABC's "Nashville"

Re: Shocker: Nashville ABC Affiliate News Anchors Get Cameo On ABC's "Nashville"

In the first (or one of the first) episode a radio interview took place in the studios of WSM-AM. I don't know if it was the actual studio but the mic flag did say WSM-AM.

Well, the same station (which was then WNGE) appeared in Robert Altman's 1975 movie of the same name.

Bill Jenkins, who did AM drive on the AM (WSIX) as well as weather on channel 2, was rather prominent in the film. My claim to fame is being part of the crowd scene at Centennial Park near the end. It was just for a blink but, well, "It Don't Worry Me". :)
