Should PBS reach deal with Discotek and RetroCrush to add some anime on the weekends?

I want to see most PBS stations taking the KTEH (now KQEH) route and reach a deal with Discotek and RetroCrush to add some classic anime like a film on the weekends.

If PBS can reach a deal with Apple Plus to add Peanuts specials, so can with Discotek and RetroCrush.

The TV anime of Urusei Yatsura is finally licensed by Discotek last weekend.

Not so sure about PBS affiliates going to this route and getting rights to anime at this point.

The thing about anime is that a lot of companies that license anime like Cruchyroll and Viz have their own apps for anime now a days, or some of it ends up on places like Hulu. Even companies like Shout Factory which distributed older anime and other Japanese media, have their own streaming channels. Not sure why they would air something for free over the air these days, especially something as obscure as anime when they can just charge people to watch it? There are a few free channels on Roku and Pluto TV that have classic anime already and there’s also lots of free apps like Tubi that also have anime. Actually I think my Roku TV with antenna has a RetroCrush channel. I don’t really see PBS or any channel going back to airing anime the terrestrial route.
