It's not even the highest-rated in the market.

Yeah...I might want to finish reading the twits twitter, but I can't seem to get all the spit-take off my laptop after the "highest rated" one....

The only argument this will raise is advocating licenses for people to be able to be online or on twitter....

I can't believe he stayed on as long as he did. He once claimed that he "grossed $2 million per year for Clear Channel". He also claimed to be a better football player than former Hurricane teammate and NFL star Warren Sapp. Sapp played in the NFL for almost 20 years and Sileo played for about twenty minutes. Now more nonsense from him. He really is in another world.

This just in - Clear Channel will probably now close down without Sileo to keep them going.

Glad this clown was finally shown the street. They should have never even brought him to Tampa. Orlando deserved him.

Considering 1040 appears to be circling the drain having laid off or fired most of their on-air talent, maybe they will hire his sorry no-talent ass. I mean they cant find anyone better than Whitney Johnson to do middays. I would imagine they had an opportunity to hire Justin Pawlowski and Todd Wright and couldnt or didnt try. When 1010 is beating you in getting staff, your station must have a serious problem.

I don't know... I reckon Genesis would rather concentrate on putting most of their resources toward 820... I mean, they just announced that 820 will be carrying all New York Yankee games in 2012. I repeat: 820, the self-described "news leader" of Tampa Bay, and not 1040, the sports station. What does that tell you?

The name of the new WDAE morning show is called "Morning Drive"? Why, that just happens to be the name of the morning show on the CC-run sports station in their backyard of San Antonio! Why am I not shocked at this?

Dan Sileo has been hired as the afternoon drive host on Miami's WQAM. He replaced Sid Rosenberg, who has been battling drug, alcohol and gambling addictions since childhood, after a DUI incident last week. Garbage in, garbage out in South Beach.

It tells me that ESPN radio wants them to clear more of their programming instead of over 150 Yankee games each season.

Someday Tampa Bay will come to a cold, hard realization: They aren't Arizona and cant have another MLB club train and have their Southern Base of operations in Tampa. Pick one: Rays or Yanks, the loser leaves town.
