I see one major error in the press release, mentioning the station as transmitting from 1 World Trade Center, when it's actually from 4 Times Square.

The 1 WTC site is for their auxiliary facilities.

What's not known is whether 33.6 is supposed to replace the current spot on 55.3 or be in addition to it. Maybe Comet also moves over to WJLP at some point in the future.

I want to know what Weigel is going to do with the duplicate Story Television signal on 37.1, the duplicate MeTV+ signal on 33.8, or the duplicate Laff signal on 33.3.

UPDATE

CHARGE! is now on 48.3 and will not appear on 33.6. WRNN 48 shares channel space with WWOR 9, which is on RF 25.

33.6 is listed on rabbitears.info as the channel for Comet TV. So far Comet TV is not on the air at that location. I don't know if Comet TV will appear on 33.6 on July 1st.

Both Comet TV and CHARGE! are owned by Sinclair Television Group.
 
Somethings in the wind on NYC Ch. 43. Latest scan has Story Television on 43.1, Me TV+ on 43.2, MeTV on 43.3, RETRO/JTV on 43.8, Heart on 43.9, EMLW on 43.12.
