Unless I miss my guess, I believe that's Don Carrigan, who co-anchored WLBZ's evening news at the time. Last I heard, I think he was with MPBN...

And after a quick check, Don Carrigan is now with WCSH channel 6 in Portland, ME, a sister station of WLBZ Bangor.

Don's co-anchor was Eloise Daniels...anyone know what happened to her?

It's a 1984 tape. I confirmed it after checking some information on the episode in question, which turned out to be "Sheriffs of Rivertown", aired 11/27/1984.

Carrigan only became a WCSH reporter 3-4 years ago. He works out of their mid-coast bureau in Rockland. I think he spent a few years in semi-retirement before then.

There are a couple of WLBZ promos from ~1990 on Youtube featuring Eloise Daniels, and in my tape collection I have a newscast from 1992 that she anchored...

If only I had more than what I found on the tape. Maybe I'll luck out again in the future.
