Sometimes All I Think About Is You. Late Nights In The Middle Of June

This 1+year old song is now in rotation on 104.1 and 107.9 that I know of.
I heard this earlier this year, maybe on 107.9 not sure.
Then it was gone.,
Now it is back.
Why ?
Did the focus groups fail with this song ?
It should have powered through the airwaves all summer long.

I remember hearing this as far back as Summer 2020 on the Sirius Alternative station. My kids are a focus group of two, but they both loved the song back then, and still do now.

I would guess that since Glass Animals have not had pop hits before, the song was overlooked. They also produced a remix with Iann Dior, a hip hop artist. I’m not sure if that is the version 107.9 is playing or not.

I have noticed lately that myTalk 107.1 has been using this song for intros, and it is way older than most of the other songs used (except for "Mood" which was also out in 2020). Possibly someone who does their research or personnel at their sister station KS95 advised them that this song is making a resurgence.

Well nuts that song is catchy, but I thought the original version was from like 1999 or something like that?

Where is Metals 107.1 located?

myTalk 107.1 is licensed to Coon Rapids, MN a suburb of Minneapolis. They claim to be the only station in the U.S. that talks only about entertainment.
