Sorry kids… Universal Kids is shutting down.

Families in the 2020s watch TV via Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video. Not a surprise. They probably had a few thousand viewers on average during 2024. It's always been a specialty-type channel, digital cable, but Sprout had a larger viewership. It took a dump when the relaunch happened and the PBS Kids shows went off the channel.
 
Not shocking to hear that Universal Kids is going away and some of this is part of Comcast Spinning of their cable channels as part of the move to protect Peacock app, NBC and their O&O's.

I don't get how it made it this long hardly anyone watches that channel over the air.
