South Florida's Other Y-100...WJZJ 100.1 Fort Myers Goes CHR

Looks like Z-100 Fort Myers has dumped Rhythmic AC and has gone CHR/Pop. In the process the name's been changed to Y-100.
So now you've got Y100 on both coasts of south Florida.
BTW, 100.1 has already been a CHR in the past, known as Kiss FM.

And they are using that same god-awful logo that Y100 Miami uses, too.

Think they will put Elvis Duran on in the morning?

Elvis Duran is already on in Ft Myers on WINK 96.9FM. So that won't happen not at least right away.

Being that WZJZ "Z100 - Move to the Music" just flipped to CHR and is patterning our Y100, I wonder if this leaves the door opened for 939 MIA to flip soon since the "Move to the Music" format doesn't seem to hold. Obviously MIA will not be flipping to a CHR format, but, there is much needed room for improvement on this station. Thoughts? CC has work ahead of them - do something with 93.9 and 103.5!

Very lame CC can't think outside the box for a better name to name the station, instead of mimicking our Y100. As for 93.9MIA it can be improved by simply stop trying to mimic 97.3The Coast and really start to mimic the original sound of Power 96 which consisted of a blend of freestyle, rap, current CHR-Pop, and a light touch of late 70's and 80's dance music. This was the original sound of Power 96 that brought in great ratings, and with this exact formula executed properly, it can work again since the demo that grew up with this sound are now adults who still remember this sound. As for 103.5, the format wheel should stop spinning already and rock should return to its rightful place on 103.5. Time to bring back SHE 103.5
