Anybody remember the Ted Branch case???
Ted was working as manager of a Deland, Florida station when he and his wife defected to the USSR. The USSR propaganda machine decribed him as a "media expert" which was far from it. Branch was from Erie and went from an Erie station to a Covington, Kentucky station. To me, he was an overweight, unkempt guy driving an old car piled high with everything including the kitchen sink.
Whatever happened to him? His defection made national news in the eighties. Did he stay in Russia? Did he come back? Any ideas???
