;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Looks like the new Spiff and Fred show on WYAY-FM True Oldies 106.7 is really helping them make a big splash in the ratings! I guess that WYAY-FM could be called the fastest growing radio station in Atlanta now! The latest book numbers are going hot! It proves my long-held point that an Oldies station in Atlanta with a huge playlist would be very well. Small playlists killed Fox 97 and Cool 105.7.
 
This music is FAR from being "old fart" music! It is ROCK and Roll, BROTHER! The kind of great Oldies that make you feel SO good!!!!!!!
 
Oh so this must be why Randy did not premiere today on True oldies? I could recall about 6 weeks or so ago someone on the board kept mentioning that today was the day for the Randy and Spiff reunion.

More like old old old fart's music.... and yeah, those low budget oldies automotive remotes are about as fun as watching paint dry.

After reading that headline, I now know who determined which station is "#1 for more music while you listen at work."
 
Looks like alot of listeners have found the show and station and are helping to make the station quite the ratings gainer! This music is timeless and still sounds great today! And yes, Randy and Fred are doing a super job!

Ratings success? Which numbers did you see? Nice guys, but they are trying too hard. A lot of "DJ YAP" as Shannon says.
 
The new 2nd half Summer book showed great #`s for WYAY-True Oldies 106.7. Others here on the board have really remarked about this too. The station is growing FAST and doing great! Spiff and Fred are also doing a great job! The huge playlist is tops!!
 
Seems like there are people posting on any board that seem annoyed when it seems that "oldies" deserve a station. Why? I think those of us who came of age in the era of WQXI among others deserve something.
 
The show sounds great and the Oldies they play are super. I really believe that True Oldies 106.7-WYAY-FM is the fastest growing FM station in Atlanta radio! I hear it everywhere I go!
