:D The new Spiff and Fred Show is set to debut and air from 3 PM- 8 PM live today on True Oldies 106.7. Iy will be great to hear Spiff back on the radio in Atlanta!

It will be good to hear him, but, it is kind of like hearing David Cassidy is coming to town. Sure, a few people will turn up to hear him, But, the good old days are over for him where he can fill a major arena. So, you few people who do decide to check him out, enjoy yourself.

If I tune him in, is there a chance I'd have to sit through a Tony Orlando song in order to hear him? No DJ is worth paying that price!

Apparently the two of youse know little about music. I am guessing you were both born in the late 1970s. The top three selling acts in all of music history are:
3. David Cassidy
2. Tony Orlando
1. Connie Francis

Everyone knows that if these superstars ever toured together it would set records for attendance all over the world.

See now I am starting to believe that an Oldies show could sell out the Georgia Dome.

Especially if they have a "free drinks for cougars" special for the 3 hours before the show starts.

But the people who bought those records are all old now, and living in nursing homes.

Good point. Better make it "free puddin' " before the concert then. ;D

I love this music and I am not old! I`ve seen alot of teenagers who love the Oldies! This music is fun and timeless and classic! The Oldies format has made a recent comeback this year due to Scott Shannon and the True Oldies Channel. True Oldies 106.7 is expanding their local programming as well! This is the best music (by far) on Atlanta radio. They WILL sell out the Georgia Dome at next year`s Ultimate Oldies Concert. I bet that alot of kids will be there as well. Many people love the Oldies! Spiff is sounding great and True Oldies 106.7 will show great improvement in the next ratings book!

Soooo.. didja catch what Spiff said near the end of his shift? Didja? didja? didja? The thing about "Thanks, Fred, for having me on here temporarily..." (or something like that).

"temporarily"? Sounds like we're being set up for Oct. 1st... (or something like that).

I think we are being set up for the return of Randy and Spiff also. Fred will move to the 10-3 slot and Randy and Spiff will be on 3-8 PM. However, WYAY may just decide to do away with Imus and put Randy and Spiff on in the Mornings!
