Hunterdon and Sussex Counties in NJ are in NY DMA, and they are in the clear to get everything NY (PRO hockey, basketball and baseball)
Poconos, Monroe and Carbon County are in Scranton DMA, and that entire DMA gets NY, Philly and Pittsburgh (latter two) depending on the provider. I heard Pittsburgh Pirates games are in the clear with DirecTV's sports pack (w/o MLB EI) in Scranton, but I could be wrong.
It is interesting now that Allentown is getting SNY, and cable access to the Mets. However, I believe DirecTV subscribers with the Sports Pak, got FSNY, and according to directvsports.com - it listed Mets games, previously. But that was a limited number of subs, and not a wide exposure like a full basic cable deal. So, maybe that area is in Mets territory, but not territory for the NY hockey or NY basketball teams.
Princeton should be in territory for everything NY and Philly, but the providers aren't carrying everything. For example, they still don't get Phillies games. Interesting that Patriot Media is choosing SNY, but still not Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. Guess Princeton winds up pretty up NY territory.
In Southern NJ, if you have DirecTV's sports pack, you are in clear for Knicks and Rangers. Unusual but true.
And not too far south in Wilmington, Delaware, CCSN-MidAtlantic has a claim of that city and state.
