Star 100.7 to have the top 80 of the 80's

That's very interesting. Could this be a sign of another format flip? I think it's very wise to get all the new music off Star so listeners will start (hopefully) flocking towards B94.

Watch the Number 1 song be "Waiting For A Star To Fall", followed immediately by all-Christmas music. ;D

Maybe they'll keep the Star name and only play 80s & 90s. This would be an ideal shift to get listeners interested in new music over to B94.

If they don't totally flip it they at least need to re-position it back to what it was, a female 25-54 core.

It looks like that is going to happen. Someone said in another thread earlier that per all access star is going all 80's and 90's with an ac format. This countdown is probably the stunt to start it off. I'm sure they will keep the star name with the same call letters.

With the herritage stint CBS is doing in Pitts-urgh haha! may be with the calls going back to "the point?"

No I agree its going to be STAR still, but it might even start playing some late 70s music, since WWSW has started to play 80s.

I was hoping Star 100.7 would've tweaked their playlist by Monday morning, but no such luck. With the exceptions of Kanye West, T-Pain, and Sean Paul, B-94 is basically the Star playlist.
