Star 93.3 Taking Shots at Mix 97 as Ratings season approaches

I heard this liner on WBWZ Star 93.3 this morning. You can be board to death on 97.7 or enjoy the music on star 93.3. I thought a station normally doesn’t even acknowledge the competition’s existence. Have thing got that completive?

Interesting. Maybe since both stations play a lot of 80s music, Star feels threatened. Who was above who, WBWZ or Mix?<P ID="signature">______________

Mix was slightly ahead of Star 93.3 in the last book 3.8 to 3.5

One of the things that I learned in Broadcasting was that there are no other stations than the one you are working at...even the slightest slightest reference to another station is a no-no. Guess these guys have a guilty conscience or have no confidence in what they are doing. The cheap potshots are in desperation, IMHO.
