Stations next door, across the street or around the block from other stations

At various points in time, nearly TV station in town was based in Hollywood...KTTV (and Metromedia Square) were located across the street from KTLA until KTTV moved to West L.A. in 1997;.

From the late 50s to the early 70s, George Putnam (the inspiration for Ted Baxter on the MTM show) was the highest paid anchorman in America - reportedly making more $ than even Walter Cronkite. Media wags at the time used to joke that George would get an extra $100,000 every time he "crossed the street." He would anchor at KTTV for awhile, then move across the street to KTLA for money, then back to KTTV again, and so on.

I should have mentioned my experience in Montana as well. Both commercial TV stations in Great Falls share the same driveway entrance. You pull forward to go into the KFBB lot, make a left and go about 250 ft to the front entrance of KRTV.

Both towers also stand side by side in the field between the two stations.

Another I just thought of, though is no longer the case, is WTVW and WNIN in Evansville, IN.

Three years ago, WTVW moved across the river to Henderson, KY and into WEHT's building when Nexstar bought it and merged the two stations operations. I haven't been by the old WTVW studios to see what is located to see what if anything is in that space now.

Every station in Atlanta is within two blocks of a street named "Peachtree". And, every station in Atlanta is within walking distance of a Waffle House.

Does that count?

Houston 20.1 and the 2 sub channels & 26.1 in the same building 69 between Newcastle and Wesleyan

Telemundo is like 1/2 to 3/4 mile away closer to the Galleria

Actually it's Univision 45, which I totally forgot to add in my previous post about the stations. It's maybe less than a quarter mile from the KRIV building on the other side of the west loop.

Telemundo is located in an office tower on the north loop near N. Shepard Dr.
