Former Sports WDAE-AM and W237CW/Tampa afternoon host Steve Duemig has died afer a long battle with a brain tumor on Thursday. Known as "The Big Dog," he began his radio career with WFNS-AM in 1991 after a 13-year career playing golf in the PGA. He joined WDAE in 1996, where he remained until his final show in February, 2018. Duemig was also the Tampa Bay Lightning's color analyst for two seasons and hosted programming on FOX Sports Radio and The Golf Channel.
