Can you please school us on who Steve Smith is, and what he has done with KKFR in the past? ;D

Looming PD change at KKFR. Steve Smith's involvement indeed signals the change. Bet on it.

so my question is this power 98.3 or another station because if it is, then changes have already started....i was listening today around 3:30pm and i heard cedric ceballos on the air! i called in and asked him a few questions he is on from 2-6pm saturdays for now! wouldnt hint anything if he would be on during the week!

I can only dream that Power may return to their roots and go Chr/Dance :) Feel all the Energy at Power 98-3

WHAT?!?!?! Sedona has a hip-hop station? That must go over really big with all those retired bankers, stock brokers and arteests.

Yes, I know you are kidding...but that will never happen if Steve Smith is running the show! Wasn't he the one that transformed many of the former CHR/Dance stations -- like Power 92 & Power 106/LA (also Hot 97/NY?) -- to hip-hop stations in the early 90's?
