Stolen from the LA Board - Why is that station in my presets?

I saw this on the LA Board and thought I'd bring it to Connecticut. We all have 12-18 presets on are car radios. And I'm sure we all have stations in our presets that we never listen to that are just there. What are they?

For me:

100.5 WRCH and 97.3 WZBG. I only put WZBG in my presets because I needed something when I removed La Fiesta 98.5 after I decided to boycott JVC Broadcasting. Similarly formatted La Bomba 97.5 doesn't come in very well where I live. It gets beat-up badly by WALK. And the ONLY time I listen to WRCH is when they're running their Christmas format.

So, how is that boycott of yours shaping up?

Well considering JVC doesn't give a crap about someone who doesn't speak their language and doesn't care about listeners in Central Connecticut. 98.5 has always had a kicking signal here in Central CT. I remember listening to 98.5 when they used to simulcast 92.7 WLIR.
PartyFM has many listeners in Connecticut ever since its inception. I recall hearing ads for a club in New Haven, and many people from Connecticut went to its MegaJam concert last year, despite a 3 hour drive.

But there's no point focusing on the other side of the Sound. It's hard to sell advertising to potential customers located 3 hours away. KC101 and 106.1 BLI cover the same areas, but they only focus on their own market. Listeners don't care where a station is from, if they can hear it and like the music, they'll add it to their presets.
If you think JVC cares about central Connecticut at all, I have a bridge across the Long Island Sound for sale.
