Streaming all songs of the 60's and 70's (is back!!!)

Looks exactly like the KMCQ's webpage before they took it down.

Boillerplate text often found on Youtube files:
"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for 'fair use' for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."

I assume WDAE-FM101 is using or running this stream for "non-profit, educational or personal use", so it would probably fall into the "fair use" category. Right?

I don't even know why I have a radio now - all the good radio is online only!

We were looking at new cars the other day. And they don't have radios! They're all touch screen things with apps! Internet radio is going mobile, this thing has it STOCK. I actually had to LOOK for the terrestrial radio app! (It does have HD Radio, but with the bazillions of online choices, who's gonna listen?) If this is not a definite sign of the times terrestrial radio is in, I simply do not know what is. Plus they're already making car stereos with mobile streaming capability you can install in your current clunker.

The future is here. And mark my words, it don't look good for terrestrial radio......

"Listening is up"
"Kids love radio"
"We love our communities and LOCAL"
"People are our most important asset"

Dammit, Bong, keep repeating the mantra and get in line with everyone else. If we are actually OPEN to potential problems, they may really exist...NO ONE wants that.

Oh, and by the way, your Social Security is just FINE. Don't worry about it.

LMFAO!!

Well hey, terrestrial radio will continue to pump out millions of watts of lowest common denominator programming through the airwaves and run up insane electric bills for the 1,000 or so terrestrial listeners left with PPMs in markets of MILLIONS. As long as there's this handful of listeners with incredibly (and suspiciously) narrow taste in music and formats and Arbitron pumping the management/programming/consulting egos up, there will always be somebody keeping the faith in terrestrial radio. It doesn't matter that everybody else is moving on/being driven away from terrestrial radio. As long as there's that tiny little sample you can inflate with impossible math that fools corporate advertisers (for now), everything is just hunky dory.

We return you now to your regularly scheduled Justin Bieber/Katy Perry mania already in progress......
