Hello Bob....I also agree with your comments above. My only thought was that no matter what Sunny ever attempts to do, they might have a difficult time because of their 6000 watt status. It sure doesn't reach that far or penetrate many office locations. At least WSEN has 25,000 watts.
In the Utica market anyway, every station that has a strong signal does OK, even if they shouldn't be doing that well, while a couple of stations that might not sound too bad, never seem to make an impact because of their weaker signal of 6,000 watts.
A perfect example of this will occur in the very near future when WXUR 92.7 "THE DRIVE" increases their power from 6000 watts to 25,000 watts from a new tower on top of the WKTV tower on Smith Hill. Right now, WXUR is at the bottom of the heap with no one listening to it. Even Bill Keeler's show is barely a blip on the map and Don Imus in the morning only has a few men over 60. Basically, no one knows the station is even on the air. I like Keeler, have done business with him before and think he is a great promotor. So, I am curious to see if the power increase puts the station over the top or not.
