Super Songs of the 70s on KKMJ Majic 95.5

KKMJ- All 70s, all weekend. Friday 3pm to 7pm and all Saturday and Sunday (except for 7pm to Midnight when Delihah's on)

This is probally the only time I listen to KKMJ. I wish they would move their currents to KAMX, and let it go oldies.

But exactly how well is the Super Songs of the 70s doing in the Austin Market?

It must be doing real well for Majic to continue it for the past 2 years.

I was born in 1980 but during my childhood they played 70s in heavy rotation, esp. in Houston. In 1983 they played a lot of 70s tunes like from the Bee Gees.

I also like 80s music but on the R&B/Urban side of the 80s not the 1069Pointless crap in Houston.

I wonder how KKMJ and KAMX ratings are doing?

Majic has done oldies on the weekends for a long time. I can remember "Easy Oldies" all weekend long 20 years ago. What they're really doing now is just an updated presentation of what they did years ago. So, I suspect they're doing really well with it since they've been doing some form of oldies for decades.
